This makes Kannan critical not for just executing on the code itself, but also help put the solution into a larger context. Over time this makes Kannan one of the few technical resources and advisors, that is not just solving the an isolated problem, but also solves that problem in a way that fits into the current larger project, as well as giving room for later development.
